Graffiti style logo design
Urban grassroots branding
Email collection / Mailchimp
Creative Consultation
Final artwork included multiple versions of a new, graffiti style logo design to be used across various mediums including print, apparel and online.
I assisted the client in setting up a Mailchimp account and using it to build an email collection landing page integrated with their social media accounts.
More about the project and client.
The client requested an urban or graffiti style logo design that could be used across multiple platforms including web, print and apparel. We also created a landing page to collect email addresses. I met with the client several times in creative consults to demonstrate how to use Mailchimp and the best use of their new logo.
This project is the beginning of an urban grassroots movement in Spartanburg, SC. It’s creator, Kelsie Floyd envisions this as a cultural and artistic movement that will manifest in various ways: podcasts, musical and artistic promotion, cultural community … and beyond. The graffiti style logo design illustrates the urban aesthetic that the client wanted to use to attract a specific genre of artist in Spartanburg.
I first met Kelsie Floyd at the Start:Me vendor night. I set up a table and handed out business cards and answered lots of questions. I collected emails and in return I did a drawing. The winner got a fully developed logo and style guide. I also setup a Facebook page and MailChimp account complete with landing page to collect emails.
I could tell that Kelsie had a passion for this dream right from the start. I love to see people get excited about their passions. I thrive on seeing that anxious happiness in their faces. If it weren’t for that … I wouldn’t have much reason to do what I’m doing.
I look forward to helping this movement grow and thrive in Spartanburg. You can find out more about Kulture Mine and sign up for their email list here.
