Teresa Mason, Business Owner and Forever Dancer

I met Teresa Mason some years back after branding Bella Dance Studio. She had been taking lessons with Georgia Burnett and was referred to me for a website. Teresa is the owner / operator of Chateau Mason, a small event venue in a rural area of Gaffney, SC. The place is also her home and my rental photography studio.

When I was building my glamour and personal branding portfolio, I asked Teresa if she’d pose for me. She was happy to oblige and I was thrilled to photograph my good friend and client.

We did three types of photos together. First, we took plenty of personal branding photos. Teresa can use these in the promotion of her business as well as beautiful portraits. Next were her glamour portraits, something a little more fun and sexy. This is where my clients always get a little silly and open up more. The third set we created were of Teresa in her dance costume. She had been choreographing her solo and allowed me the privilege of capturing her movements to create these beautiful, vintage style dance shots.

I don’t do many of these sessions. Due to time constraints and the amount of work that goes into coordinating each one, I only offer a limited number of these each year. They are always fulfilling for all individuals involved and often where I do the most learning.
