Obviously, we always draw our coloring pages by hand first. This process is a lot like my logo design process. Sketch, scan, clean-up and trace. Sometimes I use Adobe Illustrator’s Image Trace tool, but sometimes I don’t want to spend the time cleaning up a pencil sketch to prep it for Image Trace. Honestly, it’s so much faster for me to use the good old pen tool. It’s how I learned to trace images back in my younger days. No, I don’t use a pen and tablet. This is all mouse and keyboard work. Anyone who uses these tools knows that this is old school. It would take me longer to learn the pen and tablet anyway. LOL.
